Genuine Rhythm & Blues, Soul and Blues singer, Herbie Goins has a very interesting musical background, from the beginning of his career in the United States, to the transfer , in the 60s, to England that was the scene for all those musicians that were making, at that time, the contemporary music history.

In England Herbie sang first with the Eric Delayne Big Orchestra, to pass, after a while, to the Chris Barber Jazz Orchestra. Then, after the meeting with Alexis Korner, he became the official singer of the Blues Incorporated, where the musicians were, to tell some names, Jack Bruce, Dick Heckstall Smith, Ginger Baker, Danny Thompson etc.

After some years, Herbie formed his own band, Herbie Goins and the Nightimers, composed by high level musicians (John Mc Laughlin at the guitar, as an example) with great success in England and all
over Europe, where their songs, recorded by EMI, entered the charts in various countries.

At the end of 80s, Herbie moved to Italy, and with his new band has started a long series of concerts all over Europe with some tours in United States, participating to the most important musical events in various countries such as, in England, the Burnley Blues Festival, the Alexis Korner Memorial Concerts at the Buxton Opera House, the Mods Meetings (the last two at the Isle of Wight and in the town of Margate); in Switzerland, the Blues Festivals of Lugano, Saint Gallen, Rapperswill and Bellinzona; in Liechtestein the Vaduz Blues Festival together with Joe Cocker, and numerous events in Austria and of course in Italy, where Herbie is living. In the last period many of his concerts have taken place in the East European countries, specially in Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary.
