Date of Birth (et un peu après):1995, Eugenie Cotton high school in Montreuil (in the south-east suburb of Paris)
under different names. Gigs in Parisian and suburbian clubs. Inspired by Anglo-American pop/rock and funk à la 60’s,
70’s & 80’s.

The three personalities could hardly be more different:
Jessie Chaton (Jesse Kitten if translated) is a rock star in waiting apart from he takes no drugs and does not drink.
MoM is by his own admission somewhat in between sex. Gentle and kind he is very different to Jesse.
Ramon is the only first generation immigrant and was
born in Santiago, Chile. He is a capoiera coach in his spare time.

Change name for FANCY in 2002. Support for The Rapture, Peaches, TV on the Radio, The Bellrays, the mythical MC5, Errase Errata, etc…Newspaper ‘Libération’ awarded them ‘most entertaining group’ after their Transmusicales de Rennes gig in 2003!

French mag Les Inrockuptibles opens their 2004 ‘CQFD’
(best unsigned groups you must discover….) comp With their song ‘Seventeen’; Sean McLusky includes ‘King of the World’ in his ‘Nouveau Rock n’ Roll Français’ project on
Sonic Mook/V2; Gonzales is first to remix their standard ‘What’s your Name Again’ for………himself.

February 2006: First (dble) single on the French ‘Disque Primeur’ label, Busy P (aka Pedro Winter, manager of Daft Punk) revisits ‘What’s Your Name..’ adding a good dose of daft to it, while young Drixxxé goes funky with his own treatment of ‘Inside of You’. All that makes the beautiful package you’re holding in your hands.

Maintenant: en route for fame & fortune playing only chic Parisian Clubs and Suburban Shitholes.
